Cancer Research for Women, By Women

Victoria’s Secret & Co., also a Pelotonia funding partner, launched this groundbreaking initiative to improve and save the lives of millions of women around the world. Through a collaborative partnership between Pelotonia and scientific partner American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), the fund offers grants to female researchers and clinicians at various career stages.

 

The Victoria’s Secret Global Fund for Women’s Cancers has invested more than $13.5 million in research grants led by women scientists. Fostering innovation in the understanding, prevention, interception, early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of breast and gynecologic cancers, the goal is to eliminate cancer health disparities and improve outcomes.

Rising Innovator Awards

Rising Innovator Awards are presented to mid-career scientists working to pursue innovative research projects in breast and gynecologic cancers.

Career Development Awards

Career Development Awards foster innovation in the understanding, prevention, interception, early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of breast and gynecologic cancers with the goal of eliminating cancer health disparities and improving patient outcomes.

Meritorious Awards

Meritorious Awards are presented to five female cancer researchers to recognize and further their outstanding contributions to the field of women’s cancers.
