Pelotonia Kids
Youth cycling events
Pelotonia Kids gives some of our most enthusiastic spectators and fundraisers the chance to participate at a younger age.
Pelotonia Kids is a series of youth cycling events to engage the next generation of Pelotonia participants. In collaboration with the OSUCCC – James, 100% of participant-raised funds are directed to innovative pediatric cancer research at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
Community-Led Kids Rides
Over the last several years, there have been a handful of neighborhood kids rides throughout the community that inspired this new Pelotonia Kids platform.
Pelotonia Kids launched in 2024 to provide children with the opportunity to participate in Pelotonia event experiences through fundraising and cycling at a younger age.
A total of six kids rides raised $85,076 for pediatric cancer research in its first year.
Pelotonia Kids expanded in 2025 with 11 rides, including several returning events plus new kids rides throughout Ohio.
Each event is organized by community volunteers in partnership with Pelotonia staff.
Kids rides range in participant ages, route layouts and venue locations.
Participants receive a Pelotonia Kids medal, t-shirt, and other fun giveaways after crossing the finish line.
Kid participants can create a profile to support their fundraising for innovative pediatric cancer research.
