The first
Pelotonia Kids ride of 2025,
Pelotonia Kids Rangers, is set for Saturday, May 10, at Hamilton Preschool in Columbus. Of the nine kids’ rides planned for 2025, Pelotonia Kids Rangers is one of the four new additions joining five returning favorites.
Pelotonia Kids is a series of kids cycling events to engage the next generation of Pelotonia participants. In collaboration with
The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC—James), 100 percent of every Pelotonia Kids participant-raised dollar will be directed to innovative pediatric cancer research at
Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
Each Pelotonia Kids ride is organized by Pelotonia community volunteers with assistance from Pelotonia through planning resources, equipment rentals, merchandise and promotional support. Events vary in participant ages, route distances and venue locations.
Planning for
Pelotonia Kids Rangers is led by Brittany Smith and Belinda Anderson. Brittany is also a ride organizer for
SpokesKIDS held in Granville.
So far, 30 Riders are registered for Pelotonia Kids Rangers, which is designed for younger children and features a one-mile route. The event has already raised nearly $1,000 for pediatric cancer research. Registration opens the day of the event at 9:30am, with the ride beginning at 10:00am. Helmets and closed-toe shoes are required for all participants.
