Since the first Ride Weekend in 2009, the Pelotonia community has raised over $309 million, with every participant-raised dollar directed to innovative cancer research at the OSUCCC – James.

Each year, more than 7,000 Riders are expected to rally together for the best weekend, cycling across central Ohio and raising funds for lifesaving cancer research.

Route options include shorter distances great for beginners (24-30 mi), intermediate distances (50-63 mi), "century" challenges (100 mi), and two‑day journeys (up to 190 mi).

Riders commit to fundraise when they register, with amounts starting at $1,250, based on their chosen route.

More than 3,000 Volunteers make Ride Weekend possible – including first aid, gear and mechanical support, bike management, food and beverage, and more.

A Friday night community-wide party, Opening Ceremony, precedes the ride, featuring entertainment, food and drinks, an impactful stage program, and more.

Pre-ride orientation sessions, SAG support, experienced first aid and medical coverage, and “Rules of the Road” approach underscore Pelotonia's commitment to Rider safety.

High-energy cheering sections and spectators with handmade signs and cowbells along the routes make the Pelotonia Rider experience uniquely special.
