Thank you for your interest in donating to my Pelotonia ride!
I am a pretty easygoing 19 year old kid, so it often surprises people when I tell them that I am riding 180 miles and have committed to raising $2,000 dollars for Cancer research.
I am doing this because I hate Cancer, and I know that riding in Pelotonia is the best way to fight it. Although I am not a Cancer expert, I do feel that I have a general understanding of how to cure this disease:
-Give money to people who can figure out how to cure Cancer
Pelotonia has the money part figured out because 100% of every donation goes to Cancer research. The reason is that Huntington, Limited Brands, and Rich and Peggy Santulli have stepped up to the plate. They are covering all of Pelotonia's costs for running the event by giving millions of dollars.
Pelotonia also has the people part figured out. All the money raised goes to the James Cancer Hospital at the Ohio State University. The James is consistently one of the top 20 hospitals in the United States and has also received approval from the National Cancer Institute (NCI)
