I'm riding: Columbus to Athens and Back

As the photo shows, things can sneak-up on us all. After 39 years on a bike, I can't remember ever falling. Then, gliding downhill on a pleasant training ride one morning, Boom! And down I went. (You'll notice the cheese grater surface.)
The speed and surprise of the fall is a reminder that we all face the risk of being up-ended by cancer. Fortunately, there is something we can do about it.
So, this little effort to ride and raise funds - which pales ridiculously in comparison to undergoing treatment, or helping someone through it - is for my Dad, my wife Maryann's Aunt Joan, my uncle Eric and Ed, who succumbed; Maryann's grandmother, Amy, Nancy, Carl and Christine, who all - thankfully - won. I also am riding for all of our family members and friends who may yet benefit by advancing research.
It is a wonderful opportunity to represent Third Sun Solar. In addition, a family foundation will further match your support by a full 1.5 times. Therefore, your total support will be 280% of your contribution! That is very humbling. Thank you for supporting the cause.
