Ok....the first big hurdle is out of the way. We had a hugely successful year one! Amazing, amazing, amazing experience. I can't tell you how much the event meant to me and literally everyone that participated.

I CANNOT wait to be part of year 2. Last year, the experience, biking, fundraising, all of it was new and different. This year, I know what I'm getting into and I'm more motivated than ever. Just the simple act of reaching out and fundraising was incredible. The conversations, the heart wrenching stories, the collective shared purpose of the event. All an experience I will never forget.

This year, I want to beat my efforts of last year. Cancer, as you know, has not gone away. It has touched my life over the past year even more than it had before. Friends are currently fighting, and I want to ride to help them WIN!!

Please check out my picture page to get a sense of my experience from last year, and to get a sense of the overall event. Simply incredible. Also, last year I honored those who have fought and won or those who have lost their battles, by writing their names on my body. Also, a great source of conversation throughout the event.
