My name is Tom Bebee and I am a graduate researcher in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology at OSU. I work in Dr. Dawn Chandler's lab at Nationwide Children's Hospital where we work on several childhood diseases including rhabdomyoscarcoma, a pediatric cancer.

I participated in last years inaugural Pelotonia, completing the 180 mile ride and enjoying every moment. I am incredibly excited to once again be involved in Pelotonia as a student rider. This event merges my passion for both medical research and cycling, and I am very happy to be a part of an event that emphasizes the importance of basic and clinical research in the development of treatments and cures. I truly hope that you are able to participate in any way possible, through volunteering or financial donation.

So on to the money? I like all other riders am soliciting charitable donations to the 2010 Pelotonia. I hope that you can be a part of the cure, and to symbolize this, if you donate in my fundraising efforts I will be wearing a jersey made of patches listing all who contribute to my fundraisng efforts. Last year I wore this jersey at the pre-ride events and during the ride itself. If you donate and would like to design a personalized patch I ask for a 4 X 4 inch piece of fabric with your name/inspirational message on it (any who donate $100+ can provide up to an 8 X 8 inch piece). The fabric can be sent to me using the address below. Or...Want to donate but not make a patch, thats fine too...I will make one for you.
